- Video must be at least 30 seconds long, but cannot exceed 60 seconds.
- Only use footage provided by us in your video (SEE BELOW to download footage).
- Slam and Other footage can be incorporated into video however you see best fit.
- You may use any kind of music to go with your commercial, but must include the music credits at the end of your promo. This includes: name of the band, the name of the song, the record company and official band website (or record company website if band website is not available).
- You must incorporate the Birdhouse logo and The Beginning “Tree Flash” artwork (provided by us on the contest download page) into your video. Preferably at the beginning or end of your video.
- Birdhouse’s website, as well as a mention that the video is available now must also be included at the end of the promo (See previous The Beginning promo videos for examples).
- Please upload your video onto ShredOrDie.com, YouTube.com or Google Video and post the URL (web link) to your video to your video on the video contest blog as a comment. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS WHEN POSTING YOUR VIDEO AS A COMMENT ON THE BIRDHOUSE BLOG.
- Once we choose the winner, we will email you to confirm your mailing address and contact information based on the email you used when you posted your comment on the blog.
- The winner will have to supply us with a copy of their video on a disc so we can upload the video onto the Birdhouse website media section (Quicktime file is preferred)
